Questions
The following are questions that everyone needs to answer. They may not need to do so in words. But their actions are going to tell their stories. These questions are deep. They cannot be answered once and for all. Any answers must be confirmed day by day. We live in a changing world. While our…

Our Expanding Universe
Today, I learned that the first-year results from DESI have been announced. Berkeley Lab and Science have each posted great articles that provide the details. Here’s my understanding. The Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) has been used to create the largest 3D map of our expanding universe. The visuals in the above articles are awe-inspiring!…

Screenwriting Advice
Because I’m on this screenwriting kick, I’m sharing a bit of advice that makes sense to me. It comes from a book called Kill the Dog. Enjoy a brief laugh if you’ve ever read the Save the Cat books! An amateur screenwriter only wants to hear what’s good about their script; a professional only wants…

Creative Projects
I’ve been writing a screenplay. I don’t know if we’re eventually going to turn it into a movie. I would like to. The first step is to make the screenplay shine. It’s not easy work. Every day, I notice all of the things wrong with it. That’s part of the process. Lots of people say…

That surprises me, given that the entire state of Florida is supposed to be a retirement haven. Maybe, Google doesn’t appreciate…

Crypto Thoughts
I’ve never been that interested in Bitcoin. While I’m sure I’ve missed out on making a lot of money with Bitcoin, I don’t like its ties to the dark web, and I don’t like that it probably enables and facilitates criminal activity. Now, it may be that other cryptocurrencies have these same issues; however, I…

Blog Posts or Project Work?
There are only so many hours in the day. I wish I could write a blog post each day AND do significant project work each day. Alas, that’s not always possible with my current life priorities. So, I have to choose. When I’m feeling at least somewhat inspired, I usually choose to do project work.…
