While I watched a few excellent movies at the Telluride Film Festival this year, I didn’t take the opportunity to watch as many as I would like.
Here’s my brief list of movies I still want to see that were shown at Telluride.
- The Outrun, with Saoirse Ronan
- The Piano Lesson, adapted from August Wilson’s play
- Nickel Boys, by RaMell Ross
- Conclave, with Ralph Fiennes
- Emilia Perez, by Jacques Audiard, with Zoe Saldana and Selena Gomez
- The Friend, with Bill Murray and Naomi Watts
- Piece by Piece, a biography in LEGO of Pharrell Williams
- Will & Harper, with Will Ferrell
- Casa Bonita Mi Amor!
Yes, this is my brief list. There are plenty of other movies shown in Telluride I would still like to see!
I’ve mentioned this before. I’m never going to get through my list of all the movies I would like to see. That’s OK.
One of the things I love about going to the Telluride Film Festival is that it helps me prioritize my list of movies to see. (If it’s good enough for Telluride, well then it must be pretty damn good.)
