Martha Wells is the most recent addition to my collection of heroes.
This is entirely due to a series of books she has written called The Murderbot Diaries. While I know that she’s written other books, these are the only ones I’ve read so far.
- All Systems Red
- Artificial Condition
- Rogue Protocol
- Exit Strategy
- Network Effect
- Fugitive Telemetry
- System Collapse
It’s been a long time since I’ve read science fiction books that are so engaging. The following question reverberates through each episode of The Murderbot Diaries. What does it mean to be human?
With the significant growth of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.), these books are both timely and timeless. The main character is an absolute delight. The situations that unfold are fascinating. And the technical details provided make the stories believable.
While I don’t know much about Martha Wells beyond what’s in her bio, I look forward to reading more of her work!
