Inspirational Science

Here are a few stories that I find inspiring.

  1. NASA recently sent a crew of four astronauts around the Moon and back! I love the music and visuals shown above. For decades, humanity lost the ability to do Moon missions. The Artemis II Mission marks a triumphant return!
  2. Great physics continues to happen at CERN: Toponium, antimatter on the move, primordial plasma, and more! I am particularly excited that the CMS collaboration is investigating the internal structure of quarks.
  3. DESI has produced the largest 3D map of the universe. While this alone is amazing, the research could help scientists determine whether the “cosmological constant” is evolving with time.

The fact that we continue to make progress in science is exciting.
