Yesterday marked the beginning of the 53rd annual Telluride Film Festival.
I’ve known for several months that I wasn’t going to go to this one. Not because I didn’t want to. Not because I don’t love going.
This year, I chose to go to the American Film Market instead. Because I’ve never done that before.
I won’t know for several months if this was a better decision.
In the meantime, I have to admit that I’m too curious not to check the list of attendees. Here’s a partial list.
- Kenneth Branagh
- Danny Boyle
- Julianne Moore
- Ron Howard
- John Turturro
- Steve Buscemi
- John Malkovich
- Willem Dafoe
- Tom Hiddleson
- Frank Marshall
- Jesse Eisenberg
- Paul Giamatti
- Emma Stone
- Sofia Coppola
- Léa Seydoux
- Chris Pine
- Rami Malek
It’s not like I would have seen even half of these people if I had been in Telluride this weekend. Nevertheless, this list reminds me WHY I enjoy going.
The festival is ALWAYS AMAZING!
