I’m excited to be returning to the Telluride Film Festival this year.
I’ve had so many great experiences there that are worth remembering.
“No matter what kind of year I have had, if I come to Telluride, it’s been a good year.”
— Werner Herzog
Here are some of the people I’ve met, listened to, and/or talked to at Telluride.
- Karilyn and I met Micky Rooney the first year we went!
- We passed by Phillip Seymour Hoffman on a sidewalk.
- I watched Leiv Schreiber talk on a panel.
- I talked with Ethan Hawke briefly after he talked in the courthouse.
- I saw Greta Gerwig‘s talk in the courthouse.
- I listened to Chelsea Clinton talk about abortions and women’s care.
- I’ve listened to Ken Burns more than once!
- Last year, I was a few feet away from both of the leads for Anora.
- Last year, I listened to Pharrell Williams talk about Piece by Piece.
- And there have been so many more!
The Telluride Film Festival is a magical place. I won’t forget about it after the Sundance Film Festival comes to Boulder, Colorado!
