A couple of nights ago, someone said I look like James Spader. I asked if I looked like his character in The Blacklist and got an affirmative response. It made me wonder if I might look a bit like the character he played in Secretary!
While he’s about ten years older than me, I’m taking this as a compliment.
I can see the resemblance. In fact, a few others have mentioned that I look like James Spader. Who else do I look like?
Back when I was in college, I had longer hair, and I was compared to Martin Short. Someone said I looked like the character he played in the movie Innerspace.
While I appreciate the compliment, I would rather be compared to James Spader!
Martin Short is one of the funniest actors I know. James Spader tends to play more serious roles. His characters often have a dangerous edge and a sense of mystery, which appeals to me.
I don’t remember being compared to anyone else.
